The first question Brigitte is often asked is "how many sessions would I need?". This is one of the hardest questions to answer each of us are unique in our way of interpreting, analyzing and integrating change therefore we need to create a client centered therapy plan based on the individual.
Each person has their own journey with the hypnotic process and we continue to the point the client has the change they are looking for, some people need less others need more and we always work in a client centered manner allowing them to go through this process at their own pace.
However for us to fully understand that hypnosis is a process here are some guidelines Brigitte likes to follow for effective results.
The Initial Session This is the first step in the therapy process. Here we explore the presenting issue and we discover what you want from the therapy plan. We also take some time to cover the misconceptions of hypnosis and have a felt experience with the hypnotic state. during this session we lay the ground work for therapy as well as tap into the resources you already have within.
The Second Session Each hypnosis session builds on the previous session through the law of compounding. During this session we take the next step into the therapy process as we begin to look at the inner conflict level of the issue. Some people find the resolution they are looking for at this level however some need to explore further levels.
The Third Session Not to say that this is the last step in the process however this allows us to go to the root or underlying programing of the issue to bring about resolution. Some people need only go to this level others need to go to deeper of more spiritual levels for resolution. For those who need to look a little deeper we have the third session.
Follow up Sessions For some people, we use the follow up session as needed to create the session plan that is best suited to them. The benefits of the follow up session is that once we have worked and resolved the initial issue, we can use the follow up as a way to continue the progress and grow further. For those who would like to go even further we could use the follow up sessions to transition into the deeper spiritual levels.
